At present there are eight voluntary sector representatives sitting at a strategic level on behalf of the voluntary and community sector.

Two are representatives on the Childrens's Trust Board, the other 6 representatives share four places on the Strategy & Development Board to ensure full Representation, All the reps meet prior to the bimonthly Strategy & Development Board meetings to discuss developments affecting the sector and decide on co-ordinated VCS responses to any reports being discussed at the meeting.

The VCS reps report back from the meeting to VCS groups working children and young people through the YOW Strategic Update. They also report back to the Third Sector Partnership via a feedback form.
