Description of Activity
Surdhwani promotes Indian classical music and dance through concerts, workshops, lectures and demonstrations.
It invites artists of outstanding calibre from UK and abroad.
It also runs a music and dance school with classes in Vocal, Tabla, Sitar and Kathak dance.
It also works in partnership with other organisations such as schools, colleges and universities. It has a membership subscription and the membership is open to all. It is managed by a Board of Directors who come from various professional backgrounds but are dedicated and committed volunteers.
