The NSPCC now has the national remit to provide resources to support voluntary and community organisations with their safegauirding responsibilities.

They have revised the previous 'Safe Network Standards' and made the new resources available on an easy to use website which you can find at

You can use the NSPCC's extremely helpful safeguarding children self-assessment tool to:

  1. Find out what you do well
  2. Understand what you need to improve
  3. Develop an action plan to make tany improvements necessary
  4. Show parents/carers, funders and partners the quality of your organisation's commitment to safeguarding
