Description of Activity
Rathbone is a youth charity that supports young people to go where they want to go - whether thats a job, place at college, an apprenticeship or a work placement. We offer training and qualifications, including: Destinations, Rathbone's Foundation Learning Programme, and Apprenticeships.
Destinations is a tailored training programme for young people aged 16-18 who aren't in education, training or employment. Through the Destination programme, Rathbone supports young people towards their next step, whether thats college, employment or an Apprenticeship.
The Destinations programme focuses on some of the skills and qualifications that employers want, covering personal and social development, employability, work placement and functional skills qualifications in Maths, English and ICT. It also has an emphasis on vocational qualification and extra activities such as volunteering and community work to help young people build their CV and grow self confidence and self esteem.
Rathbone also provides training through Apprenticeships in several occupational areas, including: Catering and Hospitality, Retail, Warehousing, Child Care, Customer Services and Business Administration.
Apprenticeships are available to people from age 16 to no limit.
