Description of Activity

Catch22 believes that every young person deserves the chance to get on in life. We help young people find their way out of tough situations by helping them overcome obstacles; giving them the chance to learn, ear a living, live somewhere safe, steer clear of crime and give something back; and by helping their families and communities to help them out.

Through our regional structure, Catch22 delivers over 100 front-line services across all English regions, and in Wales. Examples of our service include;

  • Accommodation and independent living support services
  • Education, training and employment programmes
  • Youth offending and restorative justice services
  • Volunteering and mentoring projects
  • Family support services
  • The National Care Advisory Service
  • Communities that Care
  • Youth crime prevention programmes
  • Children & young people's support services
  • Community cohesion, including Muslim youth development programmes
  • Positive Futures (as national manager and local deliverer)

Positive Futures is an activity-based national social inclusion programme for young people aged 8-19. The programme takes a developmental approach to helping young people from deprived communities steer clear of crime, drugs and alcohol misuse and most importantly reach their fullest potential.
