Description of Activity

Pertemps People Development Group (PPDG) is a member of the ESH Group - on of the world's leading providers of Welfare to Work, training and recruitment services to an extensive number of Government and private companies across Australia.

In Wolverhampton we currently run a project called Work Focused Training, funded by the European Social Fund, aimed at supporting the 18-24 age group who claim JSA.

The aim of the project is to equip all of our customers with a City and Guilds qualification in Employability Skills and Personal Development.

All of our customers get taught how to write a CV and 1 to 1 help producing one, Interview techniques and mock interview sessions, supported job search, employment support, sic as funding to help purchase interview clothing, CRB checks and work clothes.

In addition to this our customers also have the option to access training courses such as Health an Safety, manual Handling and First Aid.

We have online training where customers can access courses to help with computer skills such as: being safe online, accessing online services, job searching online and using a computer.
