Description of Activity

Home-start Wolverhampton has been supporting families living within Wolverhampton since 2003. Home-Start Wolverhampton trains and co-ordinates volunteers to offer a confidential befriending service to families with children below the age of five years. All the support offered to families is parent led and flexible.

Our volunteers support families within their own home environment for approximately 2-3 hours per week. They type of support offered varies from emotional and practical support to raising parents confidence and so in turn helps prevent family breakdown.
