Description of Activity

Create the capacity to transform 14-19 learning and thus maximise opportunities for all learners in the 14-19 sector.

The team works in collaboration with all the key 14-19 education nd training providers across the city and also voluntary organisations, FE, HE, the young service and connexions.

The team is responsible for developing an infrastructure, systems and tools to enable providers to offer learners a very wide range of learning opportunities. Opportunities are posted on www.areaprospectus.com a website aimed at learners, parents, educational professional; opportunities posed are managed and administered by the Personalised Learning Opportunities Team, part of the 14-19 team. The team also manages the development of the curriculum innovations such as CARD Diplomas and the Reach project through targeted management Networks and CPD providers and support to learning providers in areas such as time tabling, my-iplan, Guidance and Underpinning Systems.
